Policies in plain English.

We collect only what we need to quote for and deliver survey work: your name, contact details, site information and any files you choose to send us. We use it to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and deliver services — nothing else.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties, and we do not add you to marketing lists. Enquiry data is held for up to 24 months; project data for six years where required for insurance and legal records.

Our website uses a form handler (Formspree) to deliver your enquiry by email, and Cloudflare for hosting. Neither is used for advertising. You can ask to see, correct or delete data we hold about you at any time by emailing info@lightrayimaging.co.uk.

We never publish client site imagery without written permission. Where a project involves people or private property, imagery is captured lawfully and stored securely for the minimum time necessary.

Quotes are valid for 30 days. A booking is confirmed when we agree a date in writing and receive any agreed deposit. If weather or airspace makes a flight unsafe, we reschedule at no cost to you.

Deliverables are provided for the purposes agreed in the quote. Drone survey data is subject to measurement tolerances — where outputs are used for engineering or legal decisions, we will state the accuracy achieved. We do not provide structural, legal or valuation advice.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you receive a licence to use the delivered data for your own business purposes. Copyright in raw imagery remains with us.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided and is covered by our public liability insurance (£1M commercial public liability).

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Because the site is fully static, there is no analytics or personalisation running in the background. Cloudflare, our host, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks — these cannot identify you personally.

If we later add analytics, we will ask for consent first and update this page.
